Shipping within the US is set at $4.00 per package.  Therefore, if you buy one album, 2 albums, 10 albums or 20 albums, the shipping is $4.00.  I can fit up to about 25 single LP albums into my larger shipping box.

This item is a very nice, 2-LP vinyl pressing of the album entitled Quadrophenia by The Who.  This album was released in 1973 on Track / MCA Records in the US.  This pressing is an original one with the brown Track Records labels.  This album is one of the classic rock albums of all time and, to my taste, vastly superior to Tommy in terms of narrative and music.  Where Tommy had some very symphonic passages with orchestral instruments, Quadrophenia has a much harder edge.  Even the symphonic pieces on this album are bombastic and heavy.  The only quibble that some may have with the album is that the mix is a little thick, and perhaps the vocals could (and should) have been mixed higher to be more prominent – Daltrey sounds over-powered by the music in places (and it was rare that Daltrey’s voice would have been over-powered by anything at that time).  This pressing comes with the original, very thick story book that accompanied the original release.  The back cover has only a hint of ringwear at the top of the back cover, as you can see in the photo – otherwise, the gatefold is fully intact and nice.  If you are a fan of The Who, this album is absolutely essential listening.

The vinyl is in excellent condition.  The cover is in excellent condition, as shown in the photo.

I do not use stock photos.  The photo shows the actual item up for auction.

NOTE:  Whenever the listed album is a sealed album, it is collectible and has a substantial part of its value because it is sealed.  I cannot assess the record inside for that reason, and so the purchase of every sealed album is "as-is".  Since I do not own a store, I cannot return items to the manufacturer.  Therefore, once an album is opened, I cannot refund the purchase price in full because opening significantly affects its value.

NOTE TO ALL BUYERS OUTSIDE OF THE US:  Pursuant to Paypal Seller Protection Policy sections 11.3 and 11.4, EVERY item paid for by Paypal MUST be sent via PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL MAIL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT BIDDING ON THIS ITEM IS ACCEPTANCE OF THIS REQUIREMENT.  In addition, the USPS has recently increased their rates yet again.  If you need the cost of postage for any item, please send me a message through My eBay, or go to the Postal Service's website.  Multi-album LP sets weigh more and, consequently cost more.  I will always combine postage, since combining multiple albums saves money.

If you have any questions about shipping costs, please contact me BEFORE YOU BID.

I fully recognize that this results in very high shipping costs, but it is of no benefit to me because the money is paid to the USPS for postage.  If you think this policy is unfair, contact Paypal -- I'm only following their Seller Protection Rules.  The fact that other sellers may send items by First Class International -- and put themselves at risk for claims -- is immaterial.  If you have any questions about my shipping policy or costs, please send me an e-mail via My eBay.

I am not a dealer, and all of the items I place up for auction are from my personal collection gathered over the past forty-plus years.  I am selling my collection little by little, to pay for college expenses for my two kids, in my spare time.  Shipping within the US is $4.00 per package, via media mail, regardless of the number of records up to 25.  If you want Priority shipping within the U.S., the cost is a function of weight and postal zone.  Send me a note at the conclusion of the auction, and I will send an invoice indicating the cost of priority (I can also provide this info while the auction is pending, if you e-mail me your zip code and the number of LPs).  Insurance through the USPS is available, and once again send me a note requesting that insurance be included in the invoice

PLEASE NOTE: Media mail does not have tracking.  The USPS offers delivery confirmation with online tracking.  If you want online tracking with delivery confirmation, please let me know and I will send an invoice including the cost for delivery confirmation, which is currently $0.80.

International Buyers – Please Note:

·  Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

·  Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

·  These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

·  I do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Payment may be made by paypal.  If I do not receive payment for an item within fifteen (15) days of the end of the auction and I do not hear from you in response to e-mails, I will consider the auction results void and relist the item(s) for auction.

Should you have any questions at all about postage, the payment method or for details about any item in particular, please do not hesitate to contact me.
