This UK 1st press is on the earliest plain, matt, black Track label. This genuine 1st press has all of the earliest features - flat labels, flat edge vinyl and the earliest matrix. It is complete with the stapled inner booklet, the genuine original company inner sleeves and the light sheen Track Double Deluxe gatefold sleeve. Originally released in 1973, this was The Who's sixth studio album and was used as the backing soundtrack to the 1979 movie.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. The vinyl is absolutely stunning, every track gleams. The grooves look untouched and the vinyl still has the original jet black gloss. There are just a couple of the very lightest wispy hairline marks but these are insignificant, the vinyl is sensational.
The labels are also in sensational condition. The black is solid and the silver text is sharp. There is just the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is outstanding. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable. There are a couple of moments of very slight noise but this is largely just static. Bold, vibrant, crisp and clear, just as good as the day it was pressed.
The genuine original inner sleeves are in Excellent condition. There are a couple of corner creases but these sleeves are still sensational. Clean and bright, the lining is completely intact and the edges are firm.
