And now for the description:

Very rare The Who ?– "Quadrophenia" French test pressing.  The handwritten date on the labels reads "22/10/73".
Even though the labels carry the letters A and B, the matrices on the sides are:
Side A: MPO PYR 2409204 A 3 380 Side B: MPO PYR 2409204 B 4 380
This confirms this test pressing copy as an original 1973 French release ( there are 3 known original French pressings from 1973, two of those carrying TRC matrices while one - this one- carries the MPO matrix).
This record was bought by me personally in Paris, France while on vacation some years ago. I don't know if this was a double-LP test pressing and the other record is missing, this is how I bought it and it is sold as is. It carries normal markings from normal play (visible hairlines/scratches not affecting play).

Don't pass up the opportunity to add this great The Who rarity to your collection. You may never see another one of those!
