Beautifully packaged album, in bootleg style stapled gatefold cardboard printed sleeve, with pockets either side on the inside. Comes with a selection of inserts relating to the booking/finances/potential court hearings of the band plus the rare Maximum R&B fold out poster. To my mind this is one of the best examples of record packaging that I have seen with a fantastic attention to detail.

Live at Leeds is The Who's first live album, and is their only live album that was released while the band was still recording and performing regularly and has been regularly cited as the best live rock album of all time. The album's reputation has become so high that the venue at which it was recorded, the University of Leeds refectory, has been named a national landmark in the UK, commemorated with a blue plaque (see photo in listing: plaque not included in the auction!).

Condition: vinyl has a small name handwritten on the label and a few surface marks but plays okay, generally very good. Sleeve has a few marks and natural aging plus "Jenny Bimrose" written in pen in normal small handwriting of the the top right of the back, generally presentably good condition. All letter inserts and the poster are in very good condition (only the yellow Premier Talent letter has a small corner crease).

This is from my own record collection and has been looked after with great care since bought in the above condition. It has been stored in a protective see-through sleeve which I will include when I ship the album. I will also use a cardboard stiffener in the packaging.
