This is a RARE 1st Press with the original E.J.Day sleeve.
The vinyl on both sides has a glorious sheen to it and is in excellent condition. Only a few very faint marks visible when viewed under a bright light. Slight evidence of play around both sides of the spindle hole, but no damage at all. Plays and sounds great. You need a good volume with the Who to get the correct effect.
The front laminated flip-back sleeve made by E.J.Day & Co., is in fabulous condition as well. Slight age colouring around the extremities, but excellent condition for an EP sleeve over 50 years old. Tiny bit of writing on the rear side. (Two numbers in a circle and a date 25/12/66).
Highly collectable 1st press EP from the Who.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extras such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
