THE WHO - SELL OUT - 1967 UK TRACK Mono LP +Cuttings EX

THE WHO - THE WHO SELL OUT - Original UK Mono Vinyl LP on the Track label. Excellent Condition. Also includes original press cuttings and album reviews from the period! A collectors delight!

E J Day Laminate sleeve has virtually no creasing and just a tiny amount of wear to the bottom edge and is graded a very strong Excellent condition. The spine is beautifully crisp and clear. The LP has been kept in a PVC cover (included) and is very well preserved

Vinyl plays as Excellent with superb sound quality. There are a couple of hairline surface scratches but they do not effect the excellent reproduction. I played at high volume and it sounded superb. The grooves between tracks are near silent. I played the whole LP and only heard a few very faint crackles throughout. You will certainly struggle to find a much better copy! I would grade vinyl as Excellent

What makes this copy such a delight is that the previous owner has collected a number of press cuttings and reviews from the period the album came out and stuck them to the plain poly lined inner sleeve! There is a great A4 colour poster from 'Fab 208' which has a slight tear. Cellotape has been used to stick them so there is some yellowing but as a document of the period it is quite exciting to find these original cuttings. There are about 10 seperate cuttings all together (see pictures). I will (of course) include a new plain inner sleeve

Black & Silver labels are in Excellent condition though with quite a lot of spindle wear

GRADINGS

When grading records and CD’s I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.

MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable.

I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-

I have developed a very good reputation since I began trading on ebay, with literally thousands of satisfied (and returning) customers (see my feedback). I am a music specialist and enthusiast with many years experience in the industry so when you bid on one of my items you can bid with confidence!
I also offer a 7 day money back guarantee (see below)
