A FANTASTIC COPY OF A TRUE WHO RARITY
CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: Overall grade EXCELLENT(+); I have listened to this through from start to finish twice in order to ensure that I get the grade correct. The audio on both sides is bright and clear with only minimal occasional crackle and the very odd light dust click here and there. I counted 4 pops across the whole record, 3 of which were in quick succession between the the end of 'Sunrise' and the start of 'Rael'. A fantastic listen from start to finish and so much better in mono. 
I have not attempted to clean this, but given the vinyl's visual appearance, I am sure that the sound could no doubt even improve if given the benefit of a professional clean.
VINYL VISUAL: Overall grade NEAR MINT; the vinyl has retained a lovely first press sheen. All I could see under natural light was a small, light, superficial (unfeelable) scuff across track 1 of side 2 which had no affect on play whatsoever. My bright halogen lamp showed up only some ultra fine hairlines/wispy sleeve removal marks. Looks fantastic. 
LABELS: Both NEAR MINT; just a few light spindle marks/traces.
SLEEVE: MINT; the fully laminated sleeve is in absolutely wonderful condition. Still bright white in colour with no marks or creases; just a few tiny laminate lines towards the spine which may always have been present. No ring wear or age yellowing. The spine is perfect and the opening edge totally straight and razor sharp. The whole thing looks like it was bought yesterday! No upgrade would be necessary from this; superb.

POSTER: EXCELLENT(+); the 6 panel fold out poster by Osiris Visions is the original with glossy front and matt rear (printed by Chevalier-Rotterdam). It is in great condition and is completely unused. It has just some light signs of handling and a tiny 1cm split in the middle of one of the folds. A few very light age spots here and there. Looks great.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. 

 Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping costs will be discounted.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
