Description
I bought this album new, from a record shop decades ago. The legendary 1960s English group, I first saw on ITV's (?) Friday teatime "Ready Steady Go" a live show with all the latest cool acts of the day. Great times, when you were under 25!
The LP is in VERY GOOD+ condition*, with hardly any visual evidence of having been played. (* See ratings below.)
The gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD condition, with the booklet in excellent state, going by the categories copied below. The inner sleeves are in good condition, too, but I always provide additional, new, modern replacements for the next owner, anyway.
The record has been played, but only very occasionally, then not at all for years. Some crackling at the start and end of disc, in between tracks and only occasionally, during tracks. Not enough to seriously impair the listening experience, though.
Demo, local collection and cash payment welcome.
Mostly played on a Thorens TD-150 turntable and handled carefully.
All of my vinyl records on sale are classified as VERY GOOD or EXCELLENT.
(+ or - may be added as appropriate.)
The scale is used elsewhere, and is not of my own creating.
I think my ratings are honest, but any return of the album in same condition will see you refunded as terms herein.
All records have been cleaned and are regarded as cleared of static here using: the German Knosti Record-cleaning kit.
Oh! and keep the music playing!
Vinyl condition
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Record sleeve condition
Excellent: The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
