Description

WHO TOMMY Track 69 Laminated A1B1 UK 1st pr + No'd Booklet
Track 613013/613014 This is a 1st press with Record 1, Record 2 (on the label) unlike later copies.  Also the sleeve is laminated & the Booklet is numbered unlike later issues.

SLEEVE is generally in great shape but has some slight laminate loss on the top left hand corner & slightly on spine & a slight split about 4"" on bottom opening edge of sleeve but the faces are pretty clean & VG condition.
No'd BOOKLET, No 27507 is in VG condition.
Record 1, LABELS are VG+ condition with a few spindle marks, VINYL has a couple of light surface scratches & VG++ to nr EX condition.
Record 2, LABELS are nr EX condition, VINYL is VG++ condition, almost nr EX condition with just a couple of light scuffs. Plays well.

Has had a professional clean and has been housed in a new Japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve.

For accurate play grading (like all my records)

This record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable

fitted with a Goldring stylus,

Listened to through full range SD Acoustics speakers

that have superb response and definition on all frequencies.

With a Quad Amp set-up.

For accurate visual grade (like all my records)

This record has been professionally cleaned using an

Okki Nokki cleaning machine.

First clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and

finished off with L'art du son / purified water mix.

The alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have

from the manufacturing stage, this hides detail in the sound.

The L'art du son mix seems to smooth out any

brittleness in the alcohol water mix.
