Description
The Who Sell Out was The Who's third studio album. It was released on 15th December 1967. It reached #13 in the UK album chart and #48 in the US album chart. You can find more information at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Who_Sell_Out.
The record has the matrix numbers 612 002 A and 612 002 B, which indicates that it is the original 1967 pressing. This particular copy is also the rarer mono version. The record is not warped. It has fingerprints and fluff and needs cleaning, but there are no scratches or scuffs. I have not played it for 40 years so cannot confirm it plays with no jumps, sticks or skips, but when I did play it I never had a problem with it and believe that it would play well. The labels have no rip, however, there are a spindle marks (obviously, it was played a lot).
The cover has slight wear that it is over 45 years old. However, there are no creases and I would say that it is in very good condition for its age (see photographs 1 and 2). In particular, the wording on the spine is perfectly legible and the reverse confirms that this is the mono version of the album.
The sleeve is the original and has no rips or tears. However, it has notice able corner creases (see photographs 3 and 4).
I have owned this copy of the album since I bought it shortly after it was released in 1967 I'd say that it is in excellent condition and I am selling only because I am downsizing.
