The Who ?– Tommy Label: Track Record ?– 2657 002, Track Record ?– 2657-002 Format: 2 × Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue, Tri-Fold Sleeve Country: UK Released: 1973 A very rare variant reissue of this title. All components of the set reflect the identified issue: 1: Issued in a non laminated 3 panels gatefold sleeve and booklet - Booklet printed "limited edition number" but the stamped number as on earlier pressings is missing 2: 2657 002 is the catalogue # of this package, and is clearly printed on the top of the sleeve rear. This number also appears on the record labels as follows: "(Set No. 2657-002)"
3: Labels are black Track (Polydor Ltd.) - however, the rim information identifies the LPs as 'MADE IN U.S.A.' This is the only copy we have seen of a Track label US pressing until the much later Classic Records issues Sleeve is in VG to VG+ condition, primarily due to edge wear Booklet is in VG+ condition with some mild soiling apparent LPs are EX to NM
