Here's a somewhat scarce gatefold double LP by The Who, a compilation of the two LPs released prior to the amazing journey of "Tommy", 1966's "Sell Out", and 1967's "Sell Out", their first LP to hit the US charts (at #8). GREAT ALBUMS full of classic Who songs: "I Can See For Miles", "Boris The Spider", "Happy Jack", and the mini-opera "A Quick One (While He's Away), considered by some to be among, if not the best album by the Who, it is full of fake commercials and public service announcements, in between the songs, and some of the songs were involved in litigation ("Heinz Baked Beans"). This is such a fun album from the years before the Who began to recognize their importance in the Rock world and became more serious. These LPs rock, and if you haven't heard them, here's your chance. The gatefold cover has minimal shelf and ring wear, a very legible spine, and the back top corner is the only corner that is split, and its TINY! Super solid cover, and really cool, funny and interesting. You'll spend some time with this one lol. I did just notice the front, mostly bottom left corner has some small dried drops of something that looks like it was candle wax. Both records, on the MCA label, are in fine shape, only a few light hairline and sleeve marks, nothing drastic, NO SKIPPING. Great package by two of the Who's early, and very cool LPs. Don't miss it!
