The holy grail for Who fans and collectors, the mega rare "WHO DID IT"
Who Did It was distributed via mail order only for a short time in 1970/1971. It is estimated that only 400 copies were pressed. The album contained already released tracks from A Quick One and The Who Sell Out. Therefore it did not gain much interest among record buyers and maybe 250 or 300 copies were sold before it was withdrawn. One of the rarest and most sought Who albums.
The cover has lost none of it's lamination and only has a few small creases in it, the spline is near mint with the text and record number clearly legible. The only flaw is the previous owner (there has been only 2) wrote his name in pen just above Pete Townshends hand.
THIS IS THE FINEST EXAMPLE ON ebay BAR NONE.
The record is near as mint as you can get, no marks or scratches, nearly unmarked centre hole. These albums don't come up that often, let alone in this condition. I stand by this because I have owned it since 1975 and never played.
Original inner sleeve with poly liner and the all important date of 0170, dating it to January 1970.
