Vinyl Condition/Visual Grading: EXCELLENT:- With little more than ultra fine and faint surface traces that just catch angled light, few available early issues of this evergreen masterpiece will be seen a great deal better.  Very clean, shiny, intense black and solidly pressed. With so many examples played into oblivion,  this early copy looks very lightly used and a lovely record that should please many, if not most collectors.
Label Conditions: EX. Two very fine examples: clean, fresh and attractive with only a handfull of spindle traces.   This Cover’s Potential for Wear: High: seldom seen devoid of ringwear and rubbing.
Cover Grade and Format:- VG. A single format, unlaminated and matt finish. Printed and made in Engand by MacNeill Press.  Includes the scarce Head Hunter’s Inner.Has a little ring shape/wear to the rear,has edge/ storage rubbing to the bottom has also got some quite heavy wear to the bottom right (does not show through).there is an address written in the top corner on the front. The sleeve is solid & strong with no rips, splits or tears. the sipne is in great fully legible condition. All in all an acceptable sleeve let down only by the bottom corner & the writing.
1st ISSUE COVERS:
Original 1st Press covers had an undocumented ‘invisible’ catalogue number.  Located on the front top left hand of this UK 'McNeil Press Ltd.' printed cover.  In the clouds, on the front cover near the top of the spine on the far right side,  approximately 15 mm down from the top edge, there is a camouflaged number pre-faced by two letters.  Similar to computer concealed digits and letters, the catalogue number 'DL 33789' is embedded into the print.  locating the cover between 1971 and 1974, this catalogue number is often hard to see at all, especially on worn copies. (see pic).
Head Hunter’s Inner VG:- Has been nibbled at on the bottom right corner at some time. this aside this rare inner would be EXELLENT.
