Live At Leeds
1970 UK TRACK RECORDS STEREO FIRST PRESS WITH BLACK PRINT.
(A 'HOLY GRAIL' FOR WHO COLLECTORS)
On offer is an extremely hard to find first press of the seminal Who Lp 'Live At Leeds'.
This is offered complete with all 9 inserts, all in superb condition. I do not have the poster however, but the 9 inserts i have are all in perfect condition.
This is the original flimsy gatefold sleeve with the ultra~rare BLACK TYPE FACE (The first 1000 or so only, and possibly only review copies, then the much commoner blue or red print).
This has the A1~B1 matrix numbers and the original white and blue labels with 'Made In Great Britain' text.
This looks a near EX as far as visual grading goes and this Lp plays superbly throughout and is undoubtedly the best vinyl I have seen of this Lp in along while.
The sleeve has no tears and has the original staples and was probably not meant to last as well as proper hard card sleeves but i have kept it in superb condition so there are no tears at all.
PLEASE BID ACCORDINGLY ON THIS RARE WHO ITEM~THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN THE ORIGINAL BLACK TYPE SLEEVE.

GRADING : I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality.
NEAR MINT (NM)~~a top copy~audio listening and visual grading has not revealed any imperfections. Lp is guaranteed to sound superb and shows very little sign of playing.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX- or EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound superb and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG++ ~~you will not be disappointed with this LP~may have some light surface hairlines under bright light but will sound true without distortion or any major flaw. Sleeve will be in good order.
Sleeve might have light creases or minor ringwear or spine wear but nothing too serious.
Overall the Lp and sleeve are still quite acceptable and a better copy may never come along!
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL A VERY ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
The sleeve will have seen better days.
Probably worth it for rarity value.
