THE WIMPLE WINCH Save My Soul 3:06 / Everybody’s Worried ‘Bout Tomorrow 3:22 (uk Fontana TF 718) genuine original UK mono 7” vinyl single released June 1966. This is not one of those unofficial repros with large centre hole from 2005. Full length sound clips of both sides added for your assessment.
Widely regarded by many as being one of the rarest, the best and most desirable freakbeat/pysche 45s ever released in the UK. It sold next to nothing on release which meant that now-a-days the painfully rare originals are very highly prized big ticket items. Check Popsike for details of previous sales.
This record might not look the prettiest or sound the best but it could be one of the very few chances that a lot of collectors/DJ’s might ever get to obtaining one of these genuine sixties pysche rarities at well below the market value.
Run Out Groove: stamped 267598 1F / 2F
Label: clean dark blue paper silver print; 2 label tears on top side where stickers clumsily removed by previous owner, one small label tear on flip side; serated anti-slip ridge; original 3 prong centre fully intact – overall VG minus
Record: good shine and gloss; both sides covered with very light surface marks; nothing deep or feelable, nothing that causes any skips or jumps on either side; record plays through fine both sides with surface noise on quieter parts - overall visually G+ but sounds VG (listen to the sound clips)
Depending on the final sale price this record will only be sent with some sort of tracking/insurance added.
Basic Postage: UK first class large letter £1.25p; Europe air mail small packet £3.50p; Rest of the World air mail small packet £5.00p.
