Description

Here is the Original 1939 Soundtrack for THE WIZARD OF OZ with the Complete Set of 4 - 78 rpm records in VG CONDITION*. This set has been remarkably preserved for the past 83 years. There are no significant scratches to any of the records. They do show signs of use, but I have played each record through completely and have found only light "noise" here and there on some and no skipping or groove sticking on any.
There is some rubbing/bumping on the exterior of the set's cover as shown in the pictures. The binding is not as tight as it was originally, but it is still completely intact and shows no sign of separation. The inlay, with its 22 picture "story," is in very good or better condition as can be seen in the pictures. Sleeves are whole and tight without tears. I have tried to capture the great condition of this set in the maximum pictures allowed here, but if a potential buyer would like more, or any additional information, even a sound test, please ask.

The "vocal trio" who accompany Judy on "The Jitterbug" are none other than Harold Arlen as The Scarecrow
with Bud Lyon as The Tin Man, & Garney Bell as The Lion.

The remaining songs are performed by the Ken Darby Singers.
