Description
You're bidding on a copy of the Wonder Years' Came Out Swinging 7-inch, released in 2011 on Hopeless. It is on green vinyl, out of 250 copies, conservatively in NM- condition and long since out of print. It has never been played.
This record is being auctioned off by my wife and I to help raise money to pay the medical bills for our dog, Mia (pictured above with Evan from Into It. Over It.). Mia is a three-and-a-half-year-old German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix who we rescued from a kill shelter in 2010. We truly love her more than life itself. She is even featured on the back cover artwork to our wedding 7-inch (see my other items to bid on that very rare record). Recently, she had to be hospitalized for close to three weeks with a mystery illness that was eventually identified (after dozens of tests and exploratory surgery) as irritable bowel disease, or IBD. It's not curable, but it is treatable. She was lucky to receive amazing care from her vet, but in the process racked up a significant amount in medical bills (veterinary medicine ain't cheap!).
Our current vet bill total is $3,011.46. We will continue selling records on eBay to help pay this bill off in the coming weeks. On the remote chance we are able to raise more money than is necessary to pay Mia's vet bills from these auctions, we will donate the remainder to the ASPCA.
