Description
This is an original first pressing of the 1964 mono 33rpm vinyl LP by The Yardbirds, entitled Five Live.
The tracks are as follows:
Side One: 1. Too Much Monkey Business (Berry), 2. I Got Love If You Want It (Moore), 3. Smokestack Lightnin' (Burnett), 4. Goodmorning Little Schoolgirl (Demarais), 5. Respectable (Isley Brothers).
Side Two: 1. Five Long Years (Boyd), 2. Pretty Girl (MacDaniel), 3. Louise (Hooker), 4. I'm A Man (Pomus-Shuman), and 5. Here 'Tis (MacDaniels).
This LP is on the Columbia label, and the number is 33SX 1677, while the matrix numbers are XAX 2725-1N and XAX 2726-1N. There are raised letters K and T one each side of the hole on side two. The label is in very good condition, but there are some spindle marks around the hole. It also states Recording First Published 1964.
I would have graded this vinyl as near mint, except for one unfortunate scratch which starts at the edge and goes part way across the first track on side one. The rest of the LP on both sides is pristine with no other visible marks.
The laminated flipback sleeve is in very good shiny condition with no signs of rubbing to the front cover, just a few marks from bending. The back is almost immaculate, with just a little wear on the opening edge. On the rear at the bottom is the number 6412, Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending.
This LP also has the original inner sleeve advertising Emitex cleaning cloth.
