Description

RARE 1965 ORIGINAL U.S. MONO PRESSING!

"THE YARDBIRDS- FOR YOUR LOVE"

1965 Epic LN 24167 label

The condition of the cover is a nice VG+ with mild general wear, no seam splits or writing!  The condition of the disc is a nice VG+ to EX with only a few light sleeve scuffs, nothing deep, and it plays great in glorius MONO!

This is the classic debut Yardbirds album, released in 1965 just as the band was beginning to gain some notoriety and also just as Eric Clapton was moving on.  Jeff Beck joined the band during the production of this album as Clapton had left shortly after recording had begun.  This album brought the Yardbirds to the world.  While the band was always in a state of flux at the guitar role, they were consistently able to produce some of the greatest British blues of the day.  Of course, they did so with a steady stream of some of the greatest guitarists of the day.  And in fact, of all time.  This album was released on Epic in 1965, number LN 24167.  This is the original release of the album and it is the much harder to find mono version!
