THE YARDBIRDS *For Your Love* 1965 Rare MONO Release On Epic LN-24167 VG+ Condition!  One Owner!

THIS RELEASE CONTAINS THE HIT TITLE TRACK PLUS 10 OTHER SELECTIONS.  SEE LAST FRAME OF PHOTO GALLERY FOR COMPLETE TRACK LISTING.

ALBUM COVER:  VG+ (No Shrink wrap).  Cover has a few rough spots, mainly just some moderate ring/shelf wear on the bottom center, and lighter ring/shelf wear top center on the front side.  Corners each has a minor ding about it.  A little roughness along the edges, but nothing of an egregious nature.  No top, bottom or side splits.  A couple of graffiti spots on the back of the cover and a couple of light stains of unknown origin also on the back of the cover (very minor stuff...see photos).  The spine has a couple of rough spots, but is overall in very nice shape, and the lettering is still quite visible.  Colors and hues are not bad at all.  The cover is in very nice condition for a 65' model.  Not flawless or splendid, but much nicer than acceptable.

INNER SLEEVE:  MINT.  Plain clear plastic (not original) inner sleeve (no label hole) is in virtually perfect condition.   No negatives to declare.

VINYL:  VG+ Cosmetically.  Vinyl is overall in very good to great condition on both sides.  Side one has one scuff area between tracks 2 and 3 and a lengthy scratch stretching from track 2 into track 6 (see photo).  These particula blemishes on the vinyl appear to be cosmetic in nature and do NOT result in any egregious popping or noise, nor do they have an adverse effect on the overall sound quality during playback.  Side two is beautiful.  This record has been played on vintage equipment, but sparingly, and with extreme care, and still sounds very nice.  Not abused or overplayed.

LABELS:  MINT MINUS.  Both labels are in excellent shape.  Exceptionally clean, near zero spindle wear on either side, but quite a few very light spindle trails on either side.  No scratches, tears or graffiti.  Very nice overall!

Please examine all photos carefully prior to bidding.  Most, if not all the flaws noted in this description may be viewed more closely in the photo gallery.  May I stress, don't like it?  Not as nice as you'd hoped or expected?  Just let me know.  Buyer satisfaction always guaranteed and returns always accepted.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

THIS RECORD WAS GRADED AUDIBLY 'LOUD' IN MONO MODE, SO THAT ANY AND ALL NOISE POLLUTION COULD BE HEARD AND NOTED.  NO HEADPHONES GRADING!

SIDE ONE

Near zero noise at intro.  Very light to near zero noise between tracks.  A few scattered light pops during track 4, and very light noise in the trail off area.  VG+ overall sound with almost no noise to deal with during track play.  I gave side one a grade of "A-" audibly.  A tiny bit of noise, but nothing distracting.

SIDE TWO

Near zero noise at intro, and very light to near zero noise between tracks. 3 or 4 very light pops during track 5 and light noise in the trail off area.  I gave side two an "A-" grade audibly also.  I am very strict in audible gradings.

SUMMARY:  Cosmetically, this record is overall about a 7 1/2 or 8 at worst (a "0" is scrap).  It is RARE, and definitely collectible.  It has rough spots cosmetically on the cover and was played infrequently on vintage equipment.  Suitable for re-recording to another medium without question and it sounds great.  Album is nice looking, and the description and audible gradings are honest and as thorough as possible.  I loved grading this album.  Not "stellar" or squeaky clean, but has been very well kept.  The opening bid price is very competitive for this particular pressing.

THIS ALBUM IS A "ONE OWNER" IT WAS PURCHASED NEW AT THE 'MELODY SHOP' IN FORT WORTH TEXAS IN 1965.  THE MELODY SHOP OPENED IN 1951 AND CLOSED IN 2002.
