1982 US pressing of The Yardbirds - Heart Full of Soul
Back cover reads:
The Yardbirds unique style was inspired by American bluesmen such as Sonny Boy Williamson. Featuring the dynamic performances of Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton, the group recorded a string of now classic hits in the mid-60's. "Heart Full of Soul", the title cut on this album, hit the top of the charts in England and went to #9 on the American pop charts in September 1965. Also featured on this album is a studio version of "I'm a Man", the English chart hit "Evil Heated You" and "My Girl Sloopy", The Yardbirds version of the classic hit "Hang On Sloopy" by the McCoys.
Although the group's career spanned only a short few years, their recordings are treasured by rock aficionados everywhere.
