Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my pop and progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare U.K. Demonstration pressing of The Yardbirds – Over Under Sideways Down b/w Jeff’s Boogie on the RED and WHITE Columbia label with cat. no. DB 7928.
The record is in VG+ condition, there are some hairlines and one ore two non-sounding marks. The single plays through fine with only some light crackling at the start of each side. The labels are in VG condition, there is some handling and storage wear on each side and there is also some writing on the B-side. Unfortunately the original push-out centre has been pushed out.
The single comes with an original U.K. Columbia company cover, which is in VG condition. There is some handling and storage wear, a name written on the front and there is a bottom split of approx. 5 centimetres.
Despite the condition, this is an extremely hard to find Demonstration record of the Yardbirds’ Over Under Sideways Down single. Just how many are pressed and how many are still left? This is a unique opportunity to complete your Yardbirds collection! Happy Bidding!
