Description
Sealed original copy of Having A Rave Up With The Yardbirds. A few slight dings on the corners, not bad for a 57 year old album. Has the re-channeled sticker on the outside cover. This was the Yardbird's second US album, and what a great album it is. It's a combination of tracks from The Yardbirds first British album from 1964, Five Live Yardbirds, not released in the US; and new tracks recorded in 1965 after Jeff Beck joined the group. These later tracks set the groundwork for the psychedelic and hard rock guitar based music that would follow and includes such stand out hits as Heart Full Of Soul, I'm A Man, Still I'm Sad and The Train Kept A-Rollin'. The earlier live album tracks featured a young Eric Clapton before here was proclaimed to be God and were blues based rock. This is a very important album by a very important band, cutting edge and very influential. How many bands can boast having arguably three of the five greatest rock guitarists of all time as members. Keith Relf is also one of the most underrated lead singers from the rock era. Don't miss a chance to pick up this vital piece of music history, you won't be disappointed. Priority shipping is $10.00. Items ship within 5 business days. Thanks for looking and good luck. RIP Jeff Beck.
