THE YOUNG AND THE USELESS - Real Men Don't Floss EP (Rat Cage records, 1982) 6 song EP: This is a chance to own one of the Beastie Boys rarest related releases. TYATU featured pre-Beastie Boy Adam 'Ad Roc' O'Keefe aka Horowitz on guitar and Beastie roadie, David Scilken on vocals. Bassist, Art Africano and drummer, Adam Trese both became noted indie film actore. The record was released in 1982 on Dave Parsons own Rat Cage imprint and remains one of the label's rarest releases. This is the 1st pressing is neither a bootleg nor a repress. This EP has only had one owner and it's been locked in a closet for well over twenty years! Vinyl and sleeve are dead mint!! You will not find a cleaner copy. Songs include: Young & Useless, PMH, The Wave, Home Boy, Rise and Shine and Funky Music. If anything, this record set the smart-assed template for all future Beastie Boys releases once Ad Roc joined the band. First Class postage determined by location. Insurance is highly recommended.
