This record is in very good+condition. It has just a few faint spindle marks visible on the labels and there are no pen marks, scuffs, fading or any other damage. Overall the labels are in nice condition with no serious issues to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a nice lustre and generally speaking look nice and clean. There is however 'blotchy' or 'streaky' manufacturing marks on both sides. These can be seen in normal light but are of course harmless and just a visual manufacturing defect. Other than these there is also some light sleeve marks in places and the occasional light line or minor sign of use. There is also one actual scratch on side 2. This is around 2.5cms long but luckily occurs right at the end of track 3 and across the run out groove, rather than being in any actual track. Overall the vinyl shows no major or heavy signs of use but does have the blotchy marks and the scratch(no in play) as mentioned.
I play tested the record and it produced audio that was enjoyable throughout but was also not pristine. Firstly it lays flat on the deck but upon playing there is a fraction of a raise in the record arm on both sides. This is only very slight and of course has no affect on play or the audio.
The blemished mentioned above also have no affect at all. The scratch mentioned above between tracks 3 and 4 on side 2 does however cause a skip. This occurs at the very end of track 3(no audio at the time). It skips to the beginning or start of track 4, but again before the audio begins. This is of course not ideal but if there is to be a skip it is in the best place I suppose, where there is no audio to disrupt.
Other than this skip between tracks there is no other such issues and no loud tics or sticks. There is however some light splutter and general minor levels of surface noise in parts due to the mellow nature of some of the audio. None of this is extreme, severe or hugely disruptive but there is some in the intros, between tracks or quieter sections(such as track 1 of side 2). Overall it is still a nice listen but due to the skip, light surface noise in parts and the visual blotchy marks I have graded at VG+ which I think is fair and accurate.
It contains its original plain white inner which is in very good+ condition with no tears, splits or pen marks but with slight creasing and some age related discolouring/grubbiness. The record will be sent in a brand new plain white replacement.
