This is an amazing find and possibly one of a kind. This is a one sided demonstration record of “Begin here” by The Zombies which is in remarkable condition and 100% authentic.
Not only do we have this amazing record but it also comes with the original anti-static inner sleeve which still has the DECCA factory sample sticker attached which once sealed the sleeve and also unbelievably it still has the original envelope with the DECCA STAMP which is dated and the address of the person who Decca sent it to more than likely to be reviewed, this was possibly a member of the press or a Radio D.J.
The track listing is as follows,
1/ “Sometimes” – not on the actual finished album!
2/ “I don’t want to know” – side 2 song 4 on the finished album.
3/ “Work n Play” – side 1 - song 5 on the finished album.
4/ “Can’t nobody love you” - side 2 song 2 on the finished album.
5/ “What more can I do” - side 2 song 6 on the finished album.
6/ “I got my mojo working” side 2 song 7 on the finished album.
The condition is stunning with the demo label being Near MINT and the vinyl having a nice deep shine with virtually no marks. It is a solid EX+!
This is a one off original DECCA mid 1960’s demo package that may never come up for sale again so please serious bidders only please and good luck.
