This is an unusual group for several reasons - as an early 60s R 'n B band they were very capable musicians, with a sound that's a little more sophisticated than many of their peers.
Colin Blunstone's velvet smooth voice is really special.
The debut lp is tasteful, and the single releases too - as this one certainly is - and they were soon making a VERY early foray into psych.... surely before almost anyone else!
However, despite that brilliant lp still extolled far and wide - they disbanded before it even saw release!
Commercial suicide, indeed.
It's on reflection that their reputation has snowballed, growing with every retrospective release today.... but this is an ORIGINAL single from 1965, and in lovely shape!
Here's a wonderful 1968 UK 7", and a super player.
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades NEAR MINT, plays and sounds great.
Lables are NM condition with the UK centre intact, showing little sign of having been played.
The rare paper Picture Sleeve grades a respectable EXCELLENT, some light wear at the opening edge.
