Description
Normally, I would not sell an LP in this condition, on Ebay, but as the 2014 Record Collector RRPG lists this at a staggering £700, I thought it worth a try. Please read the description carefully, and I will happily answer any questions.
The sleeve is VG. It is laminated on the front, the laminate is complete, and it has not lifted anywhere. There is a crease in the lower right rim area, Pic. 2. It runs just below the dot of the 'i' There is a crescent crease near the opening edge. Also a small corner crease, bottom left. Pic. 3. The rear is virtually uncreased, and has some light staining. Pic. 6 The edges and spine are complete, Pic. 4, apart from minor corner rubbing.
The vinyl is graded as G, and is Mono. It looks unpromising, as there are marks and scuffs to both sides. Pic. 8 shows a surface mark running right across Side 2, but it is inaudible. I have listened right through three times. The only audible scratch is on the track 'Brief Candles'. There are about six clicks at the start, followed by another ten, further into the track. Now, the crackles. They are apparent, but at no time are they intrusive, by which I mean you are struggling to hear the music against a backdrop of sizzling sausages. Finally, there is an edge warp, but it is a gentle one, and my cartridge, which plays at 1.5 gm. plays through with no problem, no jumps, or sticking.
The labels are clean, but a bit rubbed.
