THE ZOMBIES - EP/1964 MEGA RARE! 45 PICTURE SLEEVE EX/NEAR MINT. Condition is "Used Excellent ". Dispatched with Royal Mail 1st Class 'Signed For'
I have here an extremely rare Picture Sleeve EP by the Zombies on the Decca Label 1964
The Zombies were an English Beat group from St Albans, Hertfordshire. Their career started at school...
The band comprising of 5 guys ;
Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone, Hugh Grundy, Paul Atkinson and Chris White, started in 1964 and eventually disbanded around 1969.
Their last song, Time of the Season was one of their biggest hits ironically.
"She's not there" one of their other hits, was redone a few times, and in particular, Santana had a hit with it in 1977.
After the band finished, Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone went on to form "Argent" 'Hold your head up' being one on their big hits.
Then Colin Blunstone eventually went on to have a solo career.....
The record is in an excellent condition, not a visible scratch at all, which is unbelievable for 56 year old record.
The picture cover is not perfect, but to be honest it's very well presented for its age, and the lamination of the front is still intact! Unfortunately they never laminated the backs at all, so they did pick up some dirt sadly !
It does have some very small initials in biro, but thats it!
Doesn't detract from the quality of the record at all.
