"EAST SIDE REVUE," Vol. 1 & 2. Special RE 2-LP set includes "40 HITS BY EAST LOS ANGELES MOST POPULAR GROUPS!" Rampart Records #3303 & #3305, Marketed by American Pie - A Rare find for this 2-LP set, MINT- condition, possibly unplayed! Cover is VG++ with small 1" split seam, but covers are exceptionally nice with gloss . Labels are absolute sweet. Was part of my personal collection, and my very last 2LP set!! Nothing but East ELA rockers, including on Volume 1; Cannibal & The Headhunters, Mark & The Escorts, Ronnie & The Pomona Casuals, The Sisters, Frankie Olvera, The Blendells, The Atlantics, The Mixtures, The Enchantments, The Jaguars, The Heartbreakers, Alfred & Joe, The Salas Bro., The Slauson Bros., and the Blue Satins. Then on Volume 2; Thee Midniters, The Village Callers, The Premiers, The Romancers, Little Ray, The Impalas, The Salas Bros. (later formed Tierra), with The Jaguars, Thee Ambertones, David & Ruben, The East Side Kids, The Pagents, Thee Runabouts, Sunday Funnies, Thee Flurtations, Sammy Lee & The Summits, The Back Seat, Thee Epics, The Aldermen, and Thee Royal Checkmates. Incredible collection of 40 tracks, and most are extremely rare and would be costly if you were to find & purchase as singles. Personal favorites are Cradle Rock by The Heartbreakers, Where Lovers Go - The Jaguars, Band of Gold - Thee Impalas, Hector - The Village Callers, and To Be With You - Thee Midniters, lead locals Lil Willie G. The pictures of full front & back are blurry because I did not hold the camera straight.
