Thelonious Monk -- Brilliant Corners LP

with Sonny Rollins, Ernie Henry and Clark Terry

1957 US mono release on Riverside Records (catalog # RLP 12-226, Contemporary Series, second pressing from ? (between 1958 and 1963), blue labels with reel and microphone logo, Bill Grauer Productions Inc., deep groove, matrix #'s RLP-12-226 A-2 / RLP-12-226 B-2 with "AB" in both run-out grooves).

Excellent deep groove mono issue of this classic Monk session featuring Sonny Rollins, Ernie Henry, Oscar Pettiford and Max Roach.

CONDITION: Cover VG++ / Vinyl VG++   excellent shape, still in shrinkwrap, cover has pinched a little after years under the tight pressure of the shrinkwrap, also there are several small patches where the shrinkwrap has peeled away and the cover shows slight wear in those spots; vinyl is extremely clean, light wear and several slight little surface scuffs marks, plays beautifully with little or no background noise, only an occasional stray tic.

Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]
grade only used if record is brand new.

All records are packaged securely, protected by both stiff and cushion packaging, with vinyl (in original innersleeve) removed from cover and placed safely in poly sleeve to help prevent seam splitting during transit.
