LONDON AMERICAN JAZZ LABEL ORIGINAL 1958 FIRST UK PRESSING WITH FULLY LAMINATED FLIP BACK SINGLE SLEEVE, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. RARE TO FIND AS A UK ISSUE.

On the first issue red & silver LONDON AMERICAN JAZZ label, I'm offering this rare original and mega rare heavy first UK pressing of this classic jazz album by THELONIOUS MONK titled "BRILLIANT CORNERS". The album is part of the Jazz Series which also features Sonny Rollins alongside Ernie Henry & Clark Terry. Recorded in 1956, this London issue was released in the UK in 1958 a year after it got its US releasee vinyl is in excellent condition. Not an album that you see too often especially in excellent condition. No others have been sold on ebay for 4 years.

The album comes with its original flimsy fully laminated circular flip back single sleeve with sleeve notes by Raymond Horricks which is a very presentable example in very clean excellent condition. Needless to say there are no splits, stickers or unwanted writing etc but has a touch of laminate lifting and some wear to the corners. Still bearing in mind this album is 57 years old I doubt you could find a cleaner example if even you can find another. None for sale anywhere on the web.
A great addition to any serious jazz collection.

The VINYL, The first issue heavy vinyl visually looks barely played and it plays through with excellent audio.
The SLEEVE, The flimsy fully laminated flip back single sleeve is very clean and free from splits or unwanted writing etc but shows a touch of laminate lifting and has wear to the corners.
The LABELS, The labels are very clean, showing minimal spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The original patents pending emitex inner is clean and free from any unwanted writing etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
