Thelonious Monk Quintet Recordings, 1953-54. Original HI-FI Recording, W50th st NYC (side A only). Label Side B has South Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ. Featuring T.Monk - piano, Sonny Rollins - tenor, Juilius Watkins - fr horn, Percy Heath - bass, Willie Jones - drums. Also, Frank Foster - tenor sax, Ray Copeland - trumpet, Curly Russell - bass, Art Blakey - drums. Side A: Let's Call This, Think of One (take 2), Think of One (take 1). Side B: We see, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Locomotive, Hackensack. Vinyl Condition: VG, light scuff marks and hairline scratches, overall sound quality is good, occasional background noise. Cover Condition: VG, edgewear on corners, slight bend lower RH corner, 1" (one inch) opening at center of top and bottom, considerable yellowing due to age on both front and back, previous owners name written on back cover.
