THEM : Portland Town / Boom Boom (SONET 7672 - SWEDEN 1967)
Il vero nome del gruppo era "The Belfast Gypsies", formato tra l'altro da due ex componenti dei "Them" di Van Morrison. Ed è con il nome "Them" che questo disco uscì in Svezia.
Si tratta di un disco rarissimo, e soprattutto fantastico per gli appassionati di freakbeat, in particolare la versione di "Boom Boom" sul retro.

Centro a 4 punte intatto
Sulla copertina, un precedente proprietario ha messo dello scotch su un lato (e non si capisce perchè, dal momento che il lato NON è tagliato...!). Il nastro è stato tolto, ma purtroppo il segno giallo è rimasto. Il lato opposto ha un piccolo taglio, ed è un po' sciupato. Tutto sommato valuterei la copertina VG, in ogni modo date un'occhiata all'immagine sopra.

The group real name was "The Belfast Gypsies". A couple of them were in Van Morrison's "Them", and it's with this name that the record came out in Sweden.
It's an extremely rare record, and great too, especially the crazy B-side, a version of John Lee Hooker's "Boom Boom".
The record plays great, EX-
4-pronged centre intact.
The sleeve is good, but the previous owner has put some tape on the bottom side (which wasn't necessary, since it has no cuts or splits...!). The tape was removed, but left the yellow mark.
The top side has a small tear and a light general wear. All in all, I think a VG sleeve, anyway check for yourselves with the picture.
