Description

This is the THEM FIVE Sing LP, rare private all girl Female Xian Folk/Guitar with excellent acoustic vocals and guitar, great stuff!!   This a pretty much unknown group, the record label & cover have no info about the group other than the girls names & songs listed on labels, no other info is present.  However, I had previously found this LP a few years back and that one actually had a news clipping about the group.  They are from Fergus Falls, Minnesota circa late 1950s and included 4 teen age girls who sang and played guitar.  Again, great album, should be listed in Archivist books, however due obscurity of this record it has only come up for sale 1 other time when I had found it previously.   I was surprised to even see it again, let alone have another for sale.  When this one is gone, it could be gone for good!!   

Vinyl has some light to moderate scratches, more so  near beginning of side 1 that cause some ticking in spots, but it is an acoustic album so that is to be expected.  Overall, sound quality is still very enjoyable and the record does play through fine on my system.    Cover is pretty solid, has some corner wear, edge wear middle of bottom seem, but NO split, some discoloration & spots on cover, yellowing due to age against white back ground.  Back of cover is blank and it is has a few numbers written in small print on it.     Very interesting private Xian Folk record, don't miss your chance to pick it up!!
