Description

Fantastic classic UK 1965 LP which I researched on discogs for all the UK pressing variations and this one has an undocumented matrix number variation. There are both 1965 and 1970 UK mono pressings with the boxed Decca logo, the 1965 pressing has stamped matrix numbers Side 1: ARL-6819-3A / Side 2: ARL-6820-3A and the 1970 pressing has S1: ARL-6819-4A / Side 2: ARL-6820-4A. THIS copy has Side 1: ARL-6819-4A / Side 2: ARL-6820-3A. Possibly this variation was issued somewhere between those two... since it is an important UK LP I wanted to use discogs and nail down which version this copy is and came up with a variation perhaps unknown, at least not documented to my knowledge. Maybe a Them expert knows more... Decca # LK 4700 with laminated sleeve. Nice copy, Ex/Ex condition as sleeve has slight bit of crease/wear, disc has faint signs of being played carefully, a solid Ex close to M- and sounding superb.
