THEY LIVE John Carpenter Alan Howarth DEATH WALTZ SUBSCRIBER EDITION WITH BOX
They Live, Composed by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth.
2013 Death Waltz Recording Company scarce Subscriber Edition LP, DW009.
This edition includes 2 litho prints, one numbered (#32), and an A2 size poster. The vinyl is blue/purple swirl, and the LP has a "spot varnish cover".
Also included is a rare outer box for housing all 6 Subscriber Editions.
This edition is limited to only 200 copies.
Note that since taking the photo I have neatly opened the shrinkwrap at entry side to check the colour of the vinyl as this is not readily apparent.
The A2 poster and unnumbered litho were contained within the LP, and so are in mint condition. Interestingly the LP and picture inner sleeve are in technically mint and unused condition. However, the LP has a couple of visible superficial scuff marks from manufacture, and there are some small and enclosed neat seam splits to the centres of the three closed sides of the inner sleeve. I can guarantee that these are as issued - I have slid the LP out - carefully - to check colour and immediately replaced it. It can never be presumed that a new and sealed item is always in mint condition!
The numbered litho which was contained within the box but out of the LP has a very gentle corner crease bottom right, with a very ting ding in same area. There is just a fraction of a crease to the top left tip, very marginal. Else the litho is in near mint condition.
The outer box is a strong EX plus. No structural damage and just hints of shelving rubbing and hairlining. Still very fresh, bold and clean in appearance.
