Description
This is an amazingly rare concert poster used at Enrys Blueshouse, part of the Crown Hotel in Birmingham, for forthcoming acts appearing at their Tuesday Rock night throughout December 1972. Some big names of the future there - Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy and Renaissance - a progressive rock band with an interesting history in that they were formed by Keith Relf, Paul Samwell-Smith and Jim McCarty out of the ashes of The Yardbirds. Also billed to appear is Mick Abrahams, ex Jethro Tull guitarist.
Measures 40 x 30 inches and is rolled. As you can see, this poster is in a distressed state. There is a corner loss and some longish tears. Having said that it would not be difficult to have it restored. I have an excellent linen backer in France who does a fantastic job and charges very reasonable rates.
