FORTY THREE years ago, in 1976, Irish rockers Thin Lizzy released their big hit album 'Jailbreak'. It gave the world at least three loved songs with the title track, "The Boys Are Back in Town", and "The Cowboy Song". It was a hard rock masterpiece! Up for grabs today is a special, VERY limited edition Japanese import picture disc LP of that awesome album!
The artwork was done by Jim Fitzpatrick. It is an animated pic of the band and a cyborg on the A side, with another, more colorful pic on the B side. Some really wild artwork, dating back to 1976! The picture disc comes with a backing card with song titles and credits, pics (and names) of the band members, and pics of other versions of the album.
This doesn't come around very often. It was made in an EXTREMELY small number, (rumored to be only 100, but I have no way to verify that). The vinyl looks great, almost new, and is all shiny and clean! No scratches, scuffs, or gouges that I can see. The backing card looks awesome, too! No tears, folds, or holes in it, at all. A great piece of Thin Lizzy memorabilia to have, and in nearly perfect condition! Grab (or bid on) this one while you still can!
