1976 UK DECCA (TXS 108) PRESSING OF THIN LIZZY'S SECOND LP "Shades Of A Blue Orphanage" ORIGINALLY RELEASED IN 1972 AND RECORDED WHILE THEY WERE STILL A THREE-PIECE
The title derives from the band members previous outfits: Shades of Blue (Bell) and Orphanage (Lynott, Downey)

THE RECORD IS IN UNPLAYED MINT CONDITION

ALWAYS DIFFICULT TO DATE THESE 1970s DECCA ISSUES AS THE LABEL REMAINED UNCHANGED THROUGHOUT THE DECADE - SO IT'S ONLY THE ORIGINAL DECCA INNER SLEEVES WHICH CAN PRECISELY INDICATE THE TIME OF RELEASE - THIS ONE IS CLEARLY DATED APRIL 1976

PRESSED WITH THE 1970s BLUE/GREY DECCA LABELS
MATRIX: ZAL 11209 11 1 (etched) / ZAL - 11210.P - 3 (stamped)
THE LP IS HOUSED IN AN OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE "Printed and made in England by Robert Stace"
COMPLETE WITH THE ORIGINAL (for this issue) DECCA COMPANY INNER SLEEVE DATED '4-76' (April, 1976)
