Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my progressive records that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare U.K. 1st pressing of Third Ear Band – Alchemy on the Harvest label, cat. no. SHVL 756 with no EMI box and the “Sold in U.K.” remark on the labels!
The record is in VG++ condition, there are some non-sounding hairlines and a few visible, but non-sounding lines / marks. The labels are in VG++ condition as well, there are very a couple spindle marks only.
The cover is in VG condition, there is a punch hole in the bottom right corner, there is a bald spot in the top section of the spine and there is a bottom split of approx. 7 centimetres. Besides mentioned damage this cover looks still very presentable to me.
This is an extremely rare 1st U.K. pressed Harvest album by the Third Ear Band. This record is very difficult to find as a first pressing with no EMI box and the “Sold in U.K.” statement on the labels. This statement was removed from all EMI records after July 1969, so there are only a few copies pressed of this album with the statement. This is your chance to own this extremely rare first U.K. pressing of The Third Ear Band’s debut album!
