Description
This LP is incredibly rare.
It's a private pressing on the Rock Cottage label and is by a band called Third Quadrant. It's entitled 'Seeing Yourself As You Really are' and was released in 1982. The music is heavily influenced by The Pink Floyd, Genesis and other progressive/psychedelic bands and is superb throughout with guitar, keyboards and powerful vocals dominating throughout.
It's a stereo recording.
OUTER SLEEVE - The paper sleeve which folds out is in fine condition with some minor wear, ring wear and creasing on front and back. The edges are in fine condition. There is virtually no damage to the outer sleeve. There is some black ink transfer from the typed A4 insert on the inside of the sleeve but this doesn't detract from the oerall quality. I've graded the sleeve Ex.
INNER BAG - Plain white diecut paper type with inner clear plastic sleeve.
A4 INSERT - This is a lyric sheet as far as I can see with credits as well. it is one-sided and is in Ex condition with some minor creasing at the top.
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It has been played a few times. There are some light superficial marks on each side. It plays through well on both sides with some surface noise and one or two pops and clicks on both sides. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side.
LABELS - The labels are white blank - the only writing is in blus ball pen on side two 'II'. There are minor spindle marks on both sides around the hole. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - TTS 8049 A - side two - TTS 8049 B . I've graded the record as Ex+ which I believe is very fair.
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this record again.
