Description
This is a fine original stereo U.S. pressing copy of the sole LP by the Third Rail, released in 1967. The group was effectively a studio-only unit (reportedly they did do one live show) of songwriters. The record contains ten well crafted pop-rock tracks topped by the single "Run, Run, Run," which narrowly missed the top 40, and was later included on the epochal 1972 comp Nuggets. Another standout song is the psych track "No Return," which was also the b-side to the hit. The jacket has one main flaw, a 1½” split in the top seam. It's otherwise close to pristine with light corner wear, light ring wear on the back cover, and light scuffing along the top seam on the front cover -- overall EX(+). “Demonstration/Not for Sale” is stamped on the back cover. The disc is clean with a little light scraping, and plays with occasional light surface noise (EX+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
