Another very rare piece from Flying Nun Rare original 1983 New Zealand pressing of THIS KIND OF PUNISHMENT - self titled debut LP ( Flying Nun PKP 001) complete with lyric insert. Cover is Excellent plus with some creasing on the top left corner and some sticker residue on the top right Insert is Excellent plus with only a faint crease at the top from being pressed against the vinyl Vinyl is Mint minus - looks brand new - I don't recall playing this one, but would've spun it at least once Just listening to this now - pretty awesome. Very industrial, with a little 80s Kiwi drone. Cool!!!. I'd forgotten it features Chris Matthews of Childrens Hour/Headless Chickens as well as Peter and Graeme Jefferies. Plays beautifully - a very occasional click/pop but I have no doubt that would be from the pressing - the vinyl is as new. It is very quiet record in places and has virtually no surface noise whatsoever A chance to get one of my very rare NZ records - more to be listed in near future. I also have a selection of very rare NZ music posters incl The Chills , Clean, Bats, SJF etc as well as many NZ tour posters - U2, Jethro Tull, Billy Bragg, The The etc .
