Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --THOMAS F. BROWN--WEDNESDAYS CHILD--UK ORIGINAL  PRESSING. 1971, stereo 6325 250 The 81st of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED.  The edges are EX+ with NO SPLITS.  The front is in great condition  with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKERS, NO CREASES and NO RING-WEAR  there is 1small surface tear by the side of the swirl logo EX. The rear of the sleeve has some surface rub showing as the beginning of light ring-wear but this has not worn through the surface, there is also a couple of small scuffs EX-. The inner gatefold is graded as EX+ . The opening edges are in lovely N/MINT condition. There is only minor spine wear and the information is clear and un-damaged, there is wear to the tips of the corners. This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE . All in all this is in very respectable condition for a 37year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve. EX.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears. There are only a few spindle marks on either side, this album has obviously always been handled with great care, N/MINT, N/MINT.

VINYL.....This album has 111 matrix and ii2 matrix numbers. Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY light surface hair lines but NO SCRATCHES and only 1 small, light scuff on side B which does not in any way affect the sound. As with each and every one of the albums I sell, I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN. It is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles that can only be heard in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX+/EX+.
