ON a beautiful E+ copy, here's the BROADWAY NITELITES playing two of the biggest hits of 1927: 'THOU SWELL" and "MY HEART STOOD STILL," from the Rodgers & Hart hit Broadway show, "A Connecticut Yankee."
For once, the name on the record, a pseudonym for BEN SELVIN and his orchestra, is geographically dead on-target!
These two songs are played with genuine Broadway swagger and professional aplomb. It's catchy and terrific dance music, reflecting the robust health of the music business in 1927.
This original 1927 "Viva-Tonal" Columbia 1187-D is in marvelous E+ condition.
