Description

My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years

Rare original first vinyl pressing, released in 1982. Old eBay prices: €48 + €40 + $49 + $45. As you know these tracks were originally released in cassette form only, way back in 1979. The cassette was issued under the name 'At The Ajanta Cinema, Derby'. The front of this picture sleeve shows the new album title 'The Psychick Sacrifice'. This amazing double album by THROBBING GRISTLE was pressed on the ‘Illuminated’ label in conjunction with mini label ‘Karnage’ records. All tracks are taken from that live gig at the Ajanta Cinema, Derby, England on 12th April, 1979. The line-up features all four original former members. You can listen to the following great tracks. ‘Weapon Training’ / ‘Eeh Ahhoooh’ / ‘Convincing People’ / ‘Chat Up’ / ‘Hamburger Lady’ / ‘Day Song’ / ‘Persuasion’ and ‘Five Knuckle Shuffle’. The sleeve shows soft handling wear otherwise the condition is:
