This is an Original Soundtrack LP SLS 50396 (Stereo) on the Sunset Label - Issued in the UK (- size 12 x 12 inches) to the 1965 United Artists film THUNDERBALL starring Sean Connery, Claudine Auger, Adolfo Celi, Lucianna Paluzzi, Martine Beswick, Bernard Lee, Desmond Llewelyn and Lois Maxwell. Produced by Kevin McClory - Written by Richard Maibaum and John Hopkins based on the story by Ian Fleming - Directed by Terence Young - Music by John Barry . 'Thunderball' sung by Tom Jones.
James Bond continues on his fourth mission, with his aim to recover two stolen warheads. They have been taken by the evil SPECTRE organization. The world is held hostage and Bond heads to Nassau. Here, he meets the beautiful Domino and is forced into a thrilling confrontation with SPECTRE agent Emilio Largo, on board his boat, the Disco Volante. Will 007 prevent the killing of millions of innocent victims?
This LP was reissued in the 1970's on the Sunset Label and is in excellent, condition-no marks or blemishes to either side -no spindle marks- front and back covers are laiminated and are both in excellent condition, showing no signs of wear (see pictures) The LP was autographed on the front cover in black felt tip pen by the Legendary Composer John Barry on 23rd April, 1998 when he did a signing session at HMV Oxford Street, London to promote the release of his new CD - 'The beyondness of Things'. Also included is the Original Decca publicity flyer to promote this event.
