“Mind Over Matter” by Mysterious Minds (SMOA Productions, SM-BFT-1)

Bizarre psych funk LP released by a California trio who play, among other more traditional instruments, a self-made contraption called a Brass Orchestra Cabinet. It’s like a homemade pipe organ made of trumpets and other horns. I think somebody did a limited reissue of this a few years ago. Apparently this is a pretty rare record, and I can’t think of too many other psychedelic funk privates that are this good and this “out there.” Great, soulful male & female vocals and a really odd worldview. It says both Mysterious Minds and Mystic Minds on the label, but I think the former is the actual name of the ensemble.

Condition: Cover = NM STILL IN THE SHRINKWRAP !!VINYL = NM absolutely beautiful it looks fully glossy no marks.
